In the student quarter Elefanten, uniquely located just 500 meters from Högskolan Väst and the city center, you will find Eidar's largest student accommodation. Here, you can experience the ultimate student life while enjoying your own apartment with a private kitchen and bathroom/WC. The apartments are bright, featuring white walls and wood-colored carpets. All apartments are unfurnished. Elefanten is one of our most popular student quarters, close to several restaurants, cafes, pubs, shops, and entertainment options. A short walk will take you to the Resecentrum, where you can travel by train or bus to Gothenburg and other nearby cities. Three of the buildings in the Elefanten quarter were constructed in 2009 and offer 245 student apartments. In 2017, an additional 27 student apartments were completed in the brick building known as Ingenjörshuset. A pleasant common room can be booked on the ground floor of the 16-story building. All buildings are equipped with elevators and laundry rooms. In this apartment, you only pay rent for 10 out of 12 months. Please note that the rent in the advertisement refers to the 12-month rent. Therefore, your rent will be Current rent x 12 months / 10 months. For example, if the rent in the advertisement is 4000 SEK, your rent for 10 out of 12 months will be 4000x12/10 = 4800 SEK. From mid-June to mid-August, rent is free. To qualify for rent-free during the first summer, the contract must start no later than April 1.
