Magnificent former factory Our student housing is located opposite Ullevi, by the Mölndalsån river, in the former Gustav Werner's textile factory built in 1881. The factory was converted into student housing in 1996, and a newly built section was added the following year. Here, you will find a variety of floor plans and sizes of accommodations, ranging from single rooms with a shared group kitchen to 3 rooms and a kitchen. From the large rooftop terrace, you can enjoy various events at Ullevi. An interesting detail is that Håkan Hellström lived here during his studies from 1998 to 2001, and it was during this time that he wrote the legendary single "Känn ingen sorg för mig Göteborg." The property is centrally located with proximity to both the university's institutions, Gothenburg's city center, and excellent transport links. Within walking distance, you will find several restaurants, grocery stores, and other amenities. If you enjoy playing football or engaging in other outdoor activities, you will also benefit from having Exercisheden just a few minutes' walk from the property. After signing the agreement, you keep your queue time. Annual rent adjustments take place after negotiations with the Tenants' Association. If you are already living with SGS and applying for another accommodation, please note that you have your notice period and may risk receiving double rents. If you move in during April, May, June, or July, you will pay a lower rent during this period. From August 1, it will switch to a 10-month charge, i.e., the advertised rent. If you stay in the accommodation the following years, June and July will be rent-free months.
