We have apartments for seniors on Mångatan in the western part of central Borlänge. The buildings are equipped with elevators and a communal laundry room. All apartments have balconies, and some adjustments have been made regarding thresholds and the placement of electrical outlets in the apartments. The residences are adjacent to Bananparken, which features a multisport arena. There is a lot of activity and movement with many children and young people in the area. Living in Jakobsgårdarna means living in perhaps the most dynamic part of Borlänge. Here you can find life and movement for those who want it, but also proximity to peace and nature in three beautiful parks nearby. Please note that the apartment's furnishings and decor may differ from the floor plan. At Jax, there are various types of tenant facilities that you, as a tenant of Tunabyggen, can book. There are community rooms at Stjärngården, Meteorgården (including sauna), Norrskensgården (including cultural kitchen), and Regnbågsgården (including sauna). In Jakobsgårdarna, there are accommodations suitable for almost everyone; families, retirees, students, and more. In the area, there is a small shopping center, healthcare facility, community center, and Jakobs chapel. It is within walking distance to the University, the Swedish Transport Administration, Dalarna Science Park, Kupolen, Ikea, and the entire Norra Backa shopping area. There are also good bus connections to Borlänge city center. The area has preschools and a primary school (F-6).
