Unfurnished student apartment, 10-month lease The student housing area Colonia is located in an unbeatable position, just a two-minute walk from the lecture halls at campus and about 2.5 km from the city center. Here, you live close to both entertainment and everything you need for daily life. In the area, you will find AutoMat, an unmanned store open every day from 6 AM to midnight, Simons Bageri & Rosteri offering freshly baked bread and locally roasted coffee, as well as the gym FLX, which is open 24/7. Colonia also offers study rooms, study lounges, a common room with board games, a sun terrace, barbecue areas, and a guest apartment. Campus Valla is just a minute away, featuring more study rooms, libraries, and cafés. In your free time, there are plenty of student pubs in the vicinity, and Ågatan with restaurants and entertainment is just a short bike ride away. Nearby, you will also find grocery stores, burger restaurants, pizzerias, Campushallen – the students' large training facility – jogging paths, and even a golf course. Heating is included in the rent, but costs for hot water and electricity are additional. The rent covers the base rent and all applicable supplements for your specific property, which is always specified in your agreement and on your rent invoice so that you know what you are paying for. To be offered a student apartment, you need to meet our basic requirements and upload the correct documents on Mina Sidor. You can only be offered an apartment when all documents are complete and approved. For those who are already students (currently studying): You need to upload: 1. Registration certificate – showing that you are registered for at least 15 higher education credits during the current term. If you are between two terms, the latest registration certificate applies. 2. Credit report – showing if you have any payment remarks. You can order this through a service that provides credit reports. The document must be no older than six months and should be in PDF format. All documents should be uploaded in PDF format, and the registration certificate should be obtained directly from Ladok. Please ensure you use the correct format and complete documents – this way, we can quickly approve your documents. For new students (who do not yet have a registration certificate): 1. Upload your admission letter from Antagning.se (in PDF format, not a screenshot). 2. Also upload a credit report. For those who are not yet admitted: 1. Upload the application certificate from Antagning.se (in PDF format, not a screenshot). 2. Also upload a credit report. Please note that upon entering into an agreement, you are obligated to pay the rent regardless of whether you are admitted or not. If it becomes clear that studies will not commence, the agreement should be terminated as soon as possible. If you have been an exchange student during your studies at LiU, you can upload the admission letter from that university if you do not have a registration certificate. We allocate apartments based on a combination of queue points and complete, valid documents. This means that you can receive an apartment even if you do not have the highest queue points, if other applicants lack approved documents. If you have any questions, you are always welcome to contact us at colonia.student@byggvesta.se Colonia I consists of eight beautifully designed buildings where we offer 3 shared apartments, 341 one-room apartments (25–37 sqm), and 8 two-room apartments (43 and 55 sqm). All apartments have parquet floors, white-painted walls, tiled bathrooms with ceramic tiles on the floor, and an open floor plan between the kitchen and living room. Each apartment also has a personal bicycle parking space in the courtyard and a storage room. The apartments at Colonia I are located at Studievägen 3-9. (See also Colonia II).
